At the district level, field managers link corporate headquarters with the local stores and vice-versa, guiding franchisees in how to profitably operate their stores and helping managers incorporate new strategies to increase sales. At the local level, store managers oversee store operations, expenses and profits, organization, employees and inventory, backed by assistant managers who ensure that the customer environment is clean and friendly day to day. Retail operations positions are the most challenging opportunities at 7-Eleven, but also the most rewarding.
