▶ About This Opportunity
JOB SUMMARY:
The Demand Chain Transformation Leader will collaborate across various functions within the organization and engage with third-party logistics (3PL) partners to execute the long-term Value Chain strategy. The primary focus will be on establishing new facilities, including CDCs, CDC+, and/or RDCs, to enhance, and simplify, support for our stores.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
- Value Chain Strategy Translation - Collaborate cross-functionally to translate the long-term Demand Chain strategy into actionable plans for new facilities to enhance, and simplify, support for our stores.
- Facility Ownership – Own all aspects of new facility development, including Design, Implementation, Build Outs, and Startups.
- Third Party Logistics (3PL) Collaboration – Select operators and work closely with third-party logistics companies to ensure seamless execution of new facilities.
- Key Performance Indicators Management - Define and track site-specific KPIs to measure the success and efficiency of the newly established facilities.
- Facility Transition - Facilitate a smooth transition of facilities to the core Logistics team after achieving predetermined KPIs.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
EDUCATION: Bachelors/4 Yr Degree
YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE: 10+ years
YEARS OF MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE: 5+ years

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Strategic Thinking - Ability to align network/facility development plans with the overall Demand Chain strategy.
- Results-driven - Demonstrated ability to deliver results and achieve site-specific KPIs.
- Project Management - Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple facets of facility development simultaneously.
- Communication - Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with internal cross-functional teams and external partners.
