Senior Analyst of Store Innovation

▶ About This Opportunity
The Senior Analyst, Store Innovation reporting to the Sr Director Store Innovation will support the Store Innovation team in Identifying consumer trends and developing new offerings that lead to Growth (new customers/increased basket), Cash from Operations (simplification/efficiencies) and Improve Customer Experience (retention/brand loyalty). The ideal candidate will have a strong entrepreneurial mind who excels at solving ambiguous and challenging problems by analyzing and providing actionable insights from consumer trends and strong cross-functional alignment. The Senior Analyst role will assist in business case development of Innovation concepts, pipeline prioritization and ongoing verification for Senior Leadership. Due to the dynamic nature of Innovation, this team is looking for an individual who is flexible to also look for opportunities and take on additional responsibilities when needed.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Monitor and articulate Consumer Marco & Micro insights (internal and external) and industry trends that provide thought leadership that increase sales, improve the customer experience and/or simplify operations.
- Act as subject matter expert in building business case, KPI’s and testing strategy along with verification throughout the testing lifecycle.
- Provides regular updates to manager regarding funding, product and supplier set up along with invoice processing and other support as needed.
- Provide project management reporting and governance for all projects in the pipeline to be shared with Senior Leadership.
- Development of annual budget and monitor monthly actuals vs budget.
- Able to work independently and collaborative in nature.
- Additional project management support as needed.
Qualifications and Other Skills:
- 4-year bachelor’s degree, MBA/Master’s degree preferred
- Relevant 7-Eleven experience in Merchandising, Operations, PMO preferred.
- Relevant external experience 5+years in Merchandising Strategy, Innovation or Special Projects
- Project Management or project support experience preferred.
- Extensive Microsoft Office Suite skills
- Familiar with PowerBI and syndicated data such as IRI, Nielsen a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment across multiple tasks.
- Ability to effectively communicate at all levels across the company.
- Keen attention to detail with superior organizational skills
- Great collaborator and collaborator with a can-do work ethic
- PMP, CAPM and/or CSM certification preferred.
