▶ About This Opportunity
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior FP&A Analyst to join our dynamic Technology Finance team at 7-Eleven. As a Senior FP&A Analyst, you will play a crucial role in partnering with IT & Digital Leadership by providing key insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented finance professional with IT expertise, looking to contribute to a fast-paced and iconic organization.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain financial models to support the company's budgeting, forecasting, and Mid-Year Planning.
- Lead monthly financial meetings for IT & Digital VPs and Executive Leadership on expense management, variance analysis, and cost allocation.
- Support the annual budgeting process for both IT & Digital functions, providing variance analysis against actual results.
- Partner with IT & Digital Partners to be the subject matter expert on vendor spend.
- Forecast monthly and rest of year IT & Digital spend.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly and quarterly management reporting packages.
- Work with the IT and Accounting teams to set up Accruals, Prepaids, & Purchase Orders.
- Assist in the preparation of EC materials and other ad-hoc financial analyses.
- Analyze IT & Digital spending, identify trends, and provide meaningful insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- 3-5 years’ experience in a Corporate Finance, Accounting, IT, Investment Banking, or Consulting role.
- Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of financial and accounting concepts and principles, with knowledge of IT operations and cost management.
- Experience with IBM TM1 Cognos, Oracle - IProcurement is a plus.
- Experience with developing SQL queries and Power BI dashboards is a plus.
- Great team-player and collaborator with a can-do work ethic.
- Self-motivated with strong initiative is a must.
- Build and maintain cross-functional relationships with IT Leaders and hold them accountable to deliverables and timelines.
