▶ About This Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven professional to join our team as a Regional Sales Executive.Come push the boundaries of traditional retail in 7-Eleven's innovative Digital & Delivery department; where you can thrive in a fast-paced startup environment with cutting-edge technology and customer-centric solutions.In this remote, field-based role, you will be responsible fordriving sales growth, managing strategic partnerships, and providing exceptional account management to our key clients. Within this agile and entrepreneurial team, your expertisewill contribute to expanding our market presence and achieving our revenue goals.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Actively manage and grow a book of business of SMB merchants within your designated territory.
  • Serve as an advisor to local merchants to ensure they maximize the value 7Now can offer, including performance reviews, upselling, among additional support activities.
  • Sell the 7Now + 7-Eleven value proposition to local merchants (restaurants) to ultimately get them onto the 7Now app as well as to use Skipcart for delivery (DaaS)
  • Develop the strategy, execution process, and relationships within growth and merchant success within your territory
  • Partner closely with Operations and Marketplace Growth, to help solve merchant’s problems and generate insights that add value beyond top line revenue growth
  • Track and improve merchant KPIs to understand their success, issues, or opportunities
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and the competitive landscape, identifying new growth areas and business development opportunities for both Sales and Account Management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • EDUCATION: Bachelors/4 Yr Degree: (preferred but not required)
  • Fluent in Spanish strongly preferred
  • Proven experience in Sales: 5+ Years
  • SMB Market Experience:  Demonstrated ability to act as a trusted advisor to SMB merchants, restaurant industry is a plus!
  • Account Strategy:  Can develop and execute growth strategies within a territory or book of business (i.e. setting goals, sales planning, effective strategy execution)
  • Digital & Delivery knowledge:  experience with app-based service offerings and digital sales platforms
  • Relationship building and management:  Strong communication and interpersonal skills, serving as a trusted advisor that can communicate value effectively.
  • Collaboration/Team-First Mentality: Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and drive toward a common goal.  
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup environment; demonstrates the ability to pivot strategies as needed.  

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • At least 5 years of combined experience in business development, sales, and account management, preferably focusing on building from the ground up.
  • Intense desire to succeed and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Proven track record of success in remote roles
  • Ability to develop effective sales strategies
  • Self-motivation and resourcefulness to be able to pursue objectives autonomously
  • Experience with selling to restaurants and retail stores a plus
  • SaaS sales experience a plus!
