Sanitation Worker

As a Sanitation Worker, you’ll play a critical role in maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards throughout the facility. You’ll be responsible for cleaning production equipment, work areas, and handling sanitation chemicals safely and effectively.

Your day-to-day:

• Collect all containers and utensils for cleaning.

• Clean and sanitize equipment using approved chemicals.

• Ensure all containers and utensils are properly sanitized before use.

• Clean production equipment, tables, carts, and storage trays.

• Clean production floors, storage areas, dishwashing area, and warehouse.

• Separate recyclables such as glass, paper, and plastic.

• Wash production floor mats daily.

• Ensure chemicals, supplies, and tools are stocked and available.

• Complete all sanitation documentation accurately and on time.

• Disinfect commonly used items like desks, door handles, and phones.

• Communicate effectively with management and other departments.

• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and food safety standards.

What you bring:

• High School Diploma or CAEC

• Ability to read and follow chemical labels and Safety Data Sheets (SDS).

• Basic computer skills.

• Ability to operate industrial cleaning equipment.

• Skills to make minor repairs (paint restoration, drywall repair).

• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and work in cold environments.
