We’re looking for aWarehouse Assistant Manager – Shipping to lead and support our day-to-day shipping operations. Reporting to the Delivery Manager, this role is responsible for overseeing supervisors and shipping staff, ensuring accurate and on-time deliveries, and driving operational excellence.

This is ahands-on leadership role. You won’t be sitting behind a desk—you’ll be on the warehouse floor every day,boots on the ground, working alongside your team to keep operations running smoothly. If you’re physically fit, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and want to lead by example, this is the role for you.

What You’ll Do

  • Supervise daily shipping operations to ensure efficiency and accuracy
  • Lead and support supervisors and their teams through coaching and development
  • Monitor productivity, identify improvements, and implement action plans
  • Oversee staffing, scheduling, and vacation planning to meet business needs
  • Partner with sales and order desk teams to resolve shipping challenges
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
  • Manage shipping fleet and equipment maintenance with accuracy and accountability

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of warehouse, logistics, or shipping leadership experience
  • Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on work in a warehouse setting
  • Ability tolift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience operating pallet jacks or willingness to learn
  • Strong knowledge of shipping operations and transportation regulations
  • Proven ability to coach and lead teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with logistics systems
