7-Eleven Distribution Canada Corp. is looking for a Warehouse Maintenance Assistant to join our Calgary Distribution Centre team. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will help keep our warehouse safe, clean, and operating efficiently by performing general building maintenance, minor repairs, facility upkeep, and supporting maintenance projects. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys working with tools, solving problems, and taking pride in maintaining a well-kept facility.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Perform general building maintenance and minor repairs throughout the warehouse and office areas.

  • Repair and maintain doors, shelving, fixtures, fencing, and other facility components.

  • Complete painting, patching, and basic carpentry tasks as required.

  • Replace light bulbs, ceiling tiles, and other building fixtures.

  • Assist with basic plumbing repairs and non-technical maintenance tasks.

  • Conduct routine facility inspections and report issues requiring specialized repair.

  • Support the Maintenance Supervisor with preventative maintenance activities and facility projects.

  • Assist with contractor coordination and warehouse improvement initiatives.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

  • Respond to maintenance requests from warehouse leadership and employees.

  • Safely operate hand and power tools.

  • Follow all company safety procedures and policies.

Experience: 

  • Previous experience in building maintenance, warehouse maintenance, construction, property maintenance, landscaping, handyman services, or a related field preferred.

  • Experience using hand tools and performing general repairs.

  • Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn are considered strong assets.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Ability to perform general building repairs and maintenance tasks.

  • Comfortable using common hand and power tools.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a practical, hands-on approach.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Physically capable of lifting, climbing ladders, bending, and working in a warehouse environment.

  • Reliable, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented.

  • Basic computer and communication skills.

Wage: Starting at $20.00/hr based on experience
