JOB SUMMARY:

The HR Shared Services Coordinator serves as a key support role within the HR Shared Services department, providing administrative assistance and operational support for HR processes and employee inquiries. This position acts as a first point of contact for employees seeking HR assistance, managing documentation, and ensuring accurate data entry into HRIS systems. The Coordinator collaborates with various HR teams to facilitate efficient delivery of HR services while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with company policies and procedures.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Process employee documentation including onboarding paperwork, status changes, and separations in a timely and accurate manner

• Review employee I-9s and E-Verify cases to ensure compliance with federal guidelines

• Respond to employee inquiries via phone, email, and ticketing systems regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits

• Maintain employee files and HR documentation in compliance with record retention policies and legal requirements

• Update and maintain employee information in HRIS systems, ensuring data accuracy and integrity

• Provide administrative support for HR projects and initiatives as assigned

• Identify opportunities for process improvement within HR Shared Services operations

• Track and monitor HR service requests to ensure timely resolution and follow-up

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook

• Experience with HRIS systems such as Workday, ADP, or similar platforms

• Strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy

• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle inquiries professionally and efficiently

• Effective written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Problem-solving skills with the ability to research and resolve basic HR inquiries

• Knowledge of basic HR terminology and processes

• Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain accurate records

• Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information

• Adaptability to changing priorities and procedures

• Basic understanding of HR compliance requirements and documentation standards

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 Hourly
