Summary
The digital merchandising manager is responsible for creating/implementing/optimizing online product presentation to optimize 7-Eleven's digital shelf and drive sales and consumer/shopper engagement. The role uses data analytics to improve product discoverability, managing product listings, coordinating with marketing teams, and developing strategies for e‑commerce platforms, website and apps. The role requires a blend of analytical, technical and creative skills, and the ability to stay current with digital trends in CPG industry. Needs to know the consumer & shopper journey in an omnichannel world to inform how 7-Eleven makes its portfolio of items available where, when, and how the consumer wants it.


Responsibilities
Product Presentation:

  • Develop, execute, and optimize product detail pages (titles, descriptions, images, and content) across digital channels, including websites and mobile apps.
  • Align digital merchandising solutions with shopper marketing plans, brand, portfolio, and customer strategies for assigned vendor partners.
  • Partner with internal and external marketing partners to lead the development of integrated campaigns across in‑store, digital, and marketplace platforms.
  • Manage linkage with syndication platforms such as Salsify and Syndigo to enhance PDP presentation.

Data Analysis:

  • Analyze performance metrics such as conversion rates, traffic, and user behavior to inform merchandising strategies and drive data‑backed commercial decisions.

User Experience:

  • Improve product discoverability and site navigation through strategies such as optimizing search logic and category structures.
  • Partner with the 7NOW app team to develop customer-enhancing shopping features.

Planning & Collaboration:

  • Develop solid digital merchandising plans to build momentum and drive business results.
  • Collaborate with Category Management, Shopper Marketing, Vendor Partners, and other teams to conduct continuous optimization based on performance and evolving shopper trends.

Cross‑functional Skills:

  • Demonstrate excellent collaboration, influence, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Must be able to develop engaging presentations and deliver insights to audiences of all sizes.

Enterprise Impact

  • Create linkages between internal and external, global and local, and risk and opportunity to drive business results and long‑term shopper loyalty in an omnichannel environment.
  • Must understand what controls and monitoring need to be implemented to ensure 7-Eleven is always digitally compliant.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Proficiency in digital merchandising solutions, retailer e‑commerce platforms, web analytics, and content management.

Pay: $0.00 - $130,000.00 Annual
