JOB SUMMARY:

7-Eleven / SEI Fuels will be handling a number of store conversions each year from the retail space to Wholesale managed.  We’re looking for a self-driven leader with exceptional skills in communication, negotiation, and time management.  As a project manager you will be given stores to conduct surveys and build scopes of work to be performed to convert the site including a new fuel brand image.  This will entail detailed project management skills and working with 7-Eleven internal systems including Salesforce and Project Forum.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

  • All aspects of the Wholesale projects, from project inception to final completion.
  • Provide timely, concise, and transparent communications to Wholesale operations and all stakeholders including Sr. Management and Environmental Compliance.
  • Direct vendors and contractors to complete construction projects while satisfying contract requirements.
  • Ability to create project plans, including but not limited to a project charter, schedule, responsibility matrix, risk management plan, communication management plan, and stakeholder register.
  • Facilitate site survey, due diligence of conditions, and prepare scope of work.
  • Financial accountability inclusive of estimates, budget development, change orders, invoice review, and project closeout.
  • Direct interaction with bid management process and make recommendations regarding contractor selection.
  • Provides oversight and direction during the execution phase from preconstruction through issue of final required inspections and occupancy.
  • Develop site-specific, accurate equipment take-offs and orders for each project.
  • Ensure that vendors deliver work to meet duration and quality targets, addressing and ensuring the correction of under-performance issues.
  • Accountable to minimize, record and oversee completion of all project deficiencies in a timely manner.
  • Cultivate a culture of safety in accordance with department guidelines.
  • Hand over projects to stakeholders after successful completion of commissioning protocols.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

EDUCATION: Associates/2 Yr Degree

YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE: 5+ years

YEARS OF MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE: 3+ years

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • Strong knowledge of Windows 11, Microsoft Office including Work, Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of Oracle
  • Experience in fuel industry is a plus
  • Knowledge in Salesforce
