Job Summary:

The IT Oracle Time and Labor (OTL) Application Support Analyst will provide essential support to the IT Strategy & Governance OTL team, managing daily operations related to supporting Project Managers with user onboarding, assignments, and ensuring the timely submission and approval of OTL timesheets. This role is also responsible for documenting test cases, conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), reporting, and monitoring OTL Capital performance metrics.

Responsibilities:

  • Assign Project Managers to Active Projects: Assign/Update Project Managers to Active Projects within the OTL system.
  • User & Manager Support: Provide day-to-day support to users and managers acting as the OTL help desk for troubleshooting and resolving issues.
  • Training Facilitation: Conduct monthly open session training for managers and users to ensure they are well-versed in OTL processes and OTL best practices.
  • Technical Liaison: Collaborate with technical support teams to troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues in the OTL system.
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Assist with UAT for regulatory updates, patches, and annual changes to the OTL system. Ensure all updates align with company requirements.
  • Timesheet Monitoring: Monitor OTL user activity to ensure timely submission and approval of time and labor hours, escalating issues to upper management when necessary.
  • Timesheet Analysis: Perform monthly analysis of defaulted timesheets, track discrepancies, and follow up with users and managers to ensure timely resolution.
  • Reporting & Dashboards: Retrieve, compile, and report monthly OTL performance data. Create and update PowerPoint dashboards to present key metrics to leadership.
  • Process Improvement & Documentation: Continuously identify areas for process improvement, update documentation, and ensure shared drive materials are current and accessible to users.
  • Create and provide IT Workforce Capitalization insights
  • Performs other duties as requested or assigned.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, HR, Business, or related field.

Experience and Skill Requirements:

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in IT operations, IT finance, or application support.
  • Power BI Experience Preferred: Familiarity with Power BI is a plus for advanced reporting and data visualization.
  • Oracle Time and Labor: Basic understanding of Oracle Time and Labor application is preferred.
  • Process Improvement: Experience identifying and implementing process improvements in complex, dynamic environments to streamline operations and enhance system performance.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas and updates clearly and concisely to various levels of leadership.
  • Technical Expertise: Familiarity with Oracle Time and Labor (OTL) or similar time management systems is highly desirable. Working knowledge of Power BI for reporting and data visualization is a plus.
  • Reporting & Analytics Skills: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for reporting, dashboard creation, and presenting data insights.
  • Critical thinker.
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and requires minimal supervision.

  • Ability to occasionally lift to 40 pounds.
