▶ About This Opportunity

JOB SUMMARY:
The Manager Inbound Transportation and Replenishment will be responsible for inbound transportation from suppliers to dedicated 7-Eleven distribution centers as well as a group of replenishment buyers responsible for forecasting and buying inventory. This Manager will have complete oversight for the carriers (3PLs) responsible for inbound transportation including cost, scheduling, and performance. The team of replenishment buyers will be responsible for item forecasting, building efficient truckload quantities, placing POs, and ensuring timely order receipt to meet the needs of the 7-Eleven stores.


KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
 Oversight of all inbound transportation activities from suppliers to owned DCs including scheduling inbound
loads, monitoring daily quantity of deliveries, ensuring cost of lanes and loads are correct, and problem solving as needed.
 Responsible for $10M - $15M annual inbound transportation budget
 Responsible for a team of replenishment demand planners/buyers that will forecast items (new, promo, and
replenishment buys) and ensure inventory is available to meet the needs of stores.
 Replenishment team will be responsible for ~400-700 items, 100 suppliers, and ~$400M spend for two 7-Eleven dedicated distribution centers.
 Manage key metrics for transportation and inventory including annual budgets, inventory turns, weeks of
supply, carrier performance, and fill rate to stores.
 Be an effective problem solver for issues as they arise - carrier, supplier, distribution center, etc.
 Effectively lead a team and collaborate with other teams and parts of the organization. Flourish in a trust based environment that drives continuous improvement while providing outstanding service to stores.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
EDUCATION: Bachelors/4 Yr Degree
YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE: 6+ years
YEARS OF MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE: 3+ years
CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES: NA

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
 Strong problem solving skills
 Proficient with carrier based scheduling and status tools
 Knowledge of Demand Planning and Forecasting
 Strong leadership and team building skills
 Strong proficiency in Excel and other analytical tools
