▶ About This Opportunity
The Private Brands Pipeline & Commercialization Manager manages the Private Brand development process. Develops improvement projects and cycle time calendar design, and project activation within the Private Brands business unit. Responsible for creating long term and short term plans for establishing and driving processes & timelines that drive the financial outcome of the business unit. Working cross functionally with procurement, demand chain, packaging, and developers, setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Project Management:
- Monitors & tracks timelines ensuring timely progress of various milestones related to item pipeline, product development, platform enhancements, & packaging design. Sets deadlines, tracks progress, and coordinates efforts across development, procurement, demand planning, category teams, and external suppliers.
- Executes Go To Market Plan: executes comprehensive plan for launching new products or features into the market through market analysis, target audience identification, pricing strategy, distribution methods, promotional activities, and overall launch strategy. Coordinates with various internal teams and external partners to ensure a successful product launch.
- Executes plan for the private brand platform growth strategies. This involves makes recommendations for promotions, marketing, digital & delivery activations.
- Close collaboration with various departments within the organization.
- Aligning product launches with marketing campaigns and messaging.
- Recommendations to merchandising to optimize product presentation and placement.
- Operations collaboration to develop tools for execution.
- Demand planning collaboration to forecast customer demand.
Brand Management:
- Gather requirements, deliverables, and timeframes from stakeholders
- Agree on priorities
- Plan resources
- Establish project plans
- Communicate key milestones
- Communicate the project plan internally and with cross functional partners
- Produce actionable status reports for management (e.g., performance metrics)
- Adhere to the critical path and have a plan to mitigate issues that invariably arise
Preferred Experience:
- Bachelors 4 year degree in business administration or related field / MBA or Masters preferred.
- 7+ years’ experience in roles with consulting, retail and/or product development.
- Strong analytic, modelling, and Excel skills required; other data analysis tools (SQL) preferred.
- Experience using marketing metrics, consumer insights and data to drive business decisions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail. Able to communicate complex information using presentations (i.e. PowerPoint)
- Time-management skills; able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and to manage multiple, competing priorities.
- Comfortable rolling up sleeves to execute initiatives, perform quantitative analysis and reach sound conclusions.
