Senior Fuel Loyalty Analyst

SUMMARY:
The Sr Fuel Loyalty Data Analyst will support 7-Eleven’s fuel pricing department by driving measurement, analysis, and testing initiatives. This role requires a blend of business insight and data expertise to create reporting, analytics, and testing frameworks. You’ll uncover actionable insights to support the fuel pricing team, optimize loyalty strategies, and improve business processes.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
- Analyze complex data sets to identify, interpret, and communicate trends, patterns, and key insights.
- Deliver clear reports, KPIs, dashboards, and recommendations to support loyalty strategies and pricing decisions.
- Design, execute, and analyze A/B tests, providing actionable recommendations.
- Conduct cost–benefit analyses of promotions, programs, and marketing efforts.
- Develop and maintain databases, data pipelines, and analytics systems to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and quality.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements, system enhancements, and data governance practices.
- Create documentation to ensure analysis methods and processes are transparent, repeatable, and easy to replicate.
- Maintain standards for delivery, quality, and visual presentation of delivered SQL, Tableau and Excel solutions.
- Prioritize information needs of the fuel pricing team to align analytics with business objectives.
- Acquire and manage data from primary and secondary sources. Filter and “clean” data by reviewing reports and key performance indicators (KPI's) to locate and correct code problems.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- Masters, Mathematics or Business Analytics Preferred
- BS in Mathematics, Economics, and Statistics or another quantitative discipline.
Experience:
- 2+ years of relevant professional experience in data analysis, reporting, or business analytics.
- Experience with loyalty program reporting preferred.
Knowledge and Skills:
Required:
- Strong background in data management, analysis, and statistical techniques.
- Proficiency in data visualization (Tableau/Tableau Prep), SQL, and/or Python (Databricks experience a plus).
- Advanced analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proven ability to write queries, generate reports, and present findings effectively.
- Experience applying statistics to forecast trends, perform cost–benefit analysis, and calculate ROI.
Preferred:
- Experience with statistical packages (Excel, SPSS, SAS, etc.).
- Familiarity with clustering, time series analysis, proximity analysis, and sales forecasting.
- Understanding of loyalty programs, consumer behavior, and financial/cost analysis.
