▶ About This Opportunity
JOB SUMMARY:
The Senior Manager - Food Value Chain Transformation Leader (Fresh Food Facility Development) will collaborate across various functions within the organization and engage with third-party food manufacturers partners to execute the long-term Fresh Food Category strategy. The primary focus will be on establishing new facilities with flexible capabilities to enhance of daily food offering and driving our Fresh Food sales.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
- Value Chain Strategy Translation - Collaborate cross-functionally to translate the long-term Fresh Food category strategy into new manufacturing facilities and capabilities to elevate our product offering to drive our Fresh Food business.
- Facility Ownership – Own all aspects of new facility development, including Design, Implementation, build-outs, and Startups.
- Third-Party Food Manufacturer Collaboration – Select operators and work closely with Food facility operators to ensure seamless execution of facility-related initiatives.
- Key Performance Indicators Management - Define and track site-specific KPIs to measure the success and efficiency of the newly established facilities.
- Facility Transition - Facilitate a smooth transition of facilities to the core Fresh Food team after achieving predetermined KPIs.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
EDUCATION: Bachelors/4 Yr Degree
YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE: 10+ years
YEARS OF MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE: 5+ years

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Strategic Thinking - Ability to align network/facility development plans with the overall Demand Chain strategy.
- Results-driven - Demonstrated ability to deliver results and achieve site-specific KPIs.
- Project Management - Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple facets of facility development simultaneously.
- Communication - Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with internal cross-functional teams and external partners.
- International Business Experience specifically working with our Japanese Partners
