Senior Portfolio Analyst
Job ID R26_1181 Address 3200 Hackberry Road, Irving, Texas, 75063, United States Location Irving, TexasResponsible for the independent day-to-day reporting, analysis, and insight generation for the entire enterprise project portfolio, including Business Transformation Initiatives, and execution of portfolio management practices to support executive-level decision making. Work spans the entire project management lifecycle starting from ideation through verification. This individual will work closely with other cross-functional analytic experts to establish and maintain a trusted ecosystem of information including, but not limited to: project status, timelines, financial performance, KPI's, human capital, forecasts, interdependencies, verification, etc.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
- Coordinates and supports funding governance process from business case development to executive approval across business owners, Finance, Property Accounting, Project Management Office, and Business Transformation Office to ensure alignment on investments, resource needs, and company strategy map.
- Prepares and maintains Portfolio Management governance process documentation, assists with training the enterprise in practices, and supports stakeholders with execution of portfolio practices.
- Supports Business Transformation Office with business case review, results verification, analysis of business processes and developing project plans to execute strategic initiatives. Present findings and recommendations to Senior Leadership.
- Data collection, reporting, and insight development for the entire enterprise portfolio (hundreds of projects) to support the information needs of senior decision makers (VP+) within the company.
- Ad-hoc analysis of the project portfolio to support specific questions or clarifications from senior stakeholders.
- Continuous development & improvement of portfolio related information systems, processes, and operating cadences to elevate the quality and consistency of data used to support decision making.
- Proactively coordinates with other cross functional subject matter experts to establish and maintain reliable ecosystems of information associated with projects across the entire portfolio.

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Degree with focus on analytical or financial acumen. Preferred areas of expertise include data sciences, finance, accounting, economics, information systems, statistics, strategic planning and management etc.
- Ability to effectively build relationships to influence stakeholders and teams through indirect leadership, working across organizational lines and varying levels of management, including VP/SVP level.
- Ability to solve problems by assessing the situation, leveraging data where applicable, identifying root cause, and developing potential solutions.
- Deep data, reporting, visualization, and analytics expertise
- Enterprise level expertise for reporting for weekly, monthly, and custom ad-hoc requests
- Development of forecasting and prediction models for schedules, human capital, and financial plans.
- KPI development and reporting inclusive of common statistical methods, test vs. control approaches, quantitative, assessments, qualitative assessments, etc.
- Familiar with sourcing and presenting data from common enterprise platforms including Oracle, BI tools, Excel, PPM (Project Portfolio Management) platforms, Workday, Beeline, Service Now, employee survey tools, etc.
- Certifications not required but preferred candidates may have: PMP, PfMP, SAFe, Power BI, SAS, CAP, or other related analytics and project management certifications are preferred but not required based on work experience
- Strong analytical skills and process improvement viewpoint.
- Strong MS Office skills mandatory.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
