▶ About This Opportunity

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Support the development and evolution of Merchandise’s multi-year strategic chessboard to ensure alignment with strategic goals, including the optimization of Private Brands, Emerging Brands, and National Brand assortment
  • Develop in-depth analysis and synthesize data insights into actionable guiding principles and negotiation levers that will drive bottom-line results
  • Work alongside with cross-functional business partners to build a holistic evaluation of vendors
  • Regularly engage and build strong relationships with Merchant team to reinforce Merchandise initiatives and provide proactive insights
  • Develops and synthesizes Merchandise and vendor scorecards – tracks and interprets performance while drawing insights that lead to actionable merchandise recommendations
  • Prepare materials to be utilized in management decks to support communication of merchandise strategies throughout the organization, assessing both internal strategies and the external environment to deliver new business insights

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

EDUCATION: Bachelors/4 Yr Degree

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 2-4 yrs

CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES: NA

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • Showcases ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple competing priorities while consistently executing at a high level
  • Experience in taking multiple data points to form a storyline that can effectively illustrate the business case and communicates key takeaways to different audiences
  • Experience with Microsoft office suite and data analysis tools (PowerBI, Circana, Datalake, etc)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Success working both independently and in a collaborative team environment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
  • Provide excellent customer service to Merchandising organization through analytics, execution, and verification
