▶ About This Opportunity

Job Title: Windows Client System Engineer

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Analyze complex client system configuration issues and provide solutions.
  • Manage and maintain Windows client Virtual Desktop environments (Microsoft Azure).
  • Manage and maintain Windows client Active Directory Group Policy (GPO) in multiple domains.
  • Deliver driver packages used for distribution through Configuration Manager (SCCM).
  • Create and update documentation of troubleshooting and resolution. Provide in-house training when required.
  • Create, manage, and deploy custom Windows automated OS images through Microsoft Deployment Toolkit and SCCM/OSD.
  • Create, manage, and deploy custom Windows automated OS images through Microsoft Intune (AutoPilot), including custom configuration Profiles (CSP).
  • Create, manage, and deploy Windows client global changes.
  • Interface and coordinate with vendor technical personnel in providing problem resolution.
  • Manage and resolve issue escalations from multiple teams/departments that are chronic or not resolved.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure that cloud-based solutions function and scale properly.
  • Provide technical documentation for knowledge base articles for current and future business processes.
  • Assist coordination of project delivery by participating in design reviews and walk-through to communicate systems designs and validate proposed solutions.
  • Complete other duties, including special projects, as assigned by Management.
  • Work with business partners to elicit high-level requirements and capture business needs to define vision and scope.
  • Engage with subject matter experts to incorporate usability and user interface needs when designing systems.
  • Manage multiple tickets and work them in order of emergency to lowest priority.



  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), or another technical field; OR 8+ years of equivalent work experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft AutoPilot and Windows 10 deployment.
  • Strong understanding of client management tools and processes.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing clients in distributed retail environments.
  • Strong working knowledge with one or more scripting languages - PowerShell, Windows Command Script, Visual Basic Script, Python.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and root cause analysis.
  • Experience interfacing with vendors.
  • Experience working with cross-functional business and IT groups.


  • Working knowledge of PCI requirements.
  • Experience with other enterprise management and application whitelisting tools such as Tanium and Carbon Black.
  • Experience with SDLC and/or Agile project methodologies.
