Asset Protection Specialist - Supply Chain

The Asset Protection Specialist - Supply Chain will provide training, coaching and professional consultation to SEI Demand Chain Team and our Supply Chain business partners within the assigned distribution center or facilities. They will drive extensive business analytics to identify and resolve underlying causes of loss throughout the Supply Chain and facilities. They will provide leadership with regards to the Asset Protection programs and processes within the Supply Chain that support the Asset Protection Strategy of Revenue/Profit Assurance, Inventory Variation Control, Incidents/Investigations, and Safety/AP Awareness.
Responsibilities
- Develop and provide business analytics to minimize the impact of loss within the Supply Chain and to initiate and investigate fraudulent activity.
- Oversee inventory research and investigative process by developing analytical exception-based reporting and dashboards.
- Ensure professional case and research packaging development and effective case management through partnership with Asset Protection, SEI Legal, and Demand Chain Operations.
- Drive Supply Chain Inventory Control efforts by maintaining and executing programs and standards to protect company assets throughout the Supply Chain.
- Expand the Supply Chain's Inventory Control Process by training and creating awareness throughout the organization to help identify areas of potential loss.
- Deliver training curriculum to educate Supply Chain business partners on the causes and preventative measures of loss control and physical security.
- Analyze audit results to determine causes of inventory loss and provides business solutions to prevent future losses.
- Work with Field Asset Protection Team to identify and resolve inventory loss through the distribution center delivery process.
- Execute and maintain effective relationships with SEI Demand Chain Team and Supply Chain business partners.
- Drive business processes within transportation network, 3rd party partners and within distribution centers to ensure the protection of company assets to minimize losses.
- Provide immediate response, support, leadership and consultation to Supply Chain Operations following critical incidents that impact the organization.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
EDUCATION: Bachelors/4 Yr Degree
YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE: 3+ years
YEARS OF MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE: 1+ years
CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES: CFI, LPQ, LPC, Lean Six-Sigma (Preferred)
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Up-to-date knowledge of ordinances, statutes, laws and regulations governing criminal and civil cases encountered by a retail business, including transportation related data (i.e. DOT, CTPAT).
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability successfully oversee and manage multiple projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience as an effective public speaker.
- Strong analytical knowledge with a comprehensive understanding of retail financial management.
- Ability to work in a "Team Environment" and successfully function with other areas of the business. (Demand Chain, Safety, Operations, Accounting, HR, Legal, etc.)
- Travel – 10%
