Delivery Marketing Specialist

This position is open to candidates across Canada. For candidates based in Surrey, the role follows a hybrid work model. For the right candidate, a fully remote arrangement may also be considered.
The Delivery Marketing Specialist is responsible for supporting delivery channel strategies and initiatives that accelerate delivery sales and enhance the perception of 7-Eleven among our delivery customers.
This role owns the day-to-day execution of delivery marketing initiatives, acting as the operational backbone between Marketing, Merchandising, US partners, and delivery platforms. The Delivery Marketing Specialist is accountable for translating strategy into flawless execution across creative, promotions, menus and platform setup.
Reporting into the Delivery Marketing Manager, as a member of the Marketing, Communications and Digital team at 7-Eleven Canada, you will bring knowledge in delivery marketing, a passion for elevating the online customer experience, and the courage to challenge the status quo.
Responsibilities
Delivery Campaign Execution
• Own day-to-day execution of delivery marketing initiatives once priorities and direction are defined, including creative briefing, promotional setup, menu configuration, quality assurance and launch validation.
• Develop clear and detailed campaign briefs to support online order growth across 7NOW and third-party delivery platforms (UberEats, DoorDash, SkiptheDishes and Fantuan)
• Coordinate delivery campaign timelines, ensuring all required inputs are received, reviewed and implemented accurately.
Platform Setup & Coordination
• Act as the main Canadian lead for promotion setup and menu configuration across 7Now and third-party delivery platforms, partnering closely with US teams to execute promotions accurately and on time.
• Configure and validate promotions, pricing and menu updates to ensure alignment with approved campaign details and platform requirements.
• Perform post-launch checks and support troubleshooting to address any setup or execution issues.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Facilitate delivery promotion requests from Merchandising, ensuring requirements are clearly documented, tracked, and translated into accurate promotion and menu setup across delivery platforms.
• Responsible for maintaining day-to-day relationships with internal and external partners for technical deployment and scheduling of delivery campaigns and content.
• Partner cross-functionally with Marketing & Communications, Loyalty and US teams to evaluate new initiatives and process improvements for delivery orders.
Tracking, Documentation & Reporting
• Maintain internal trackers, documentation, and status updates for delivery campaigns, promotions, and menu changes to ensure visibility, accuracy and cross-functional alignment.
• Monitor key delivery performance KPI metrics and support regular reporting to the Marketing & Communication team.
Operational Excellence
• Responsible for timely reconciliation of delivery accruals and drive fees to the accounting department.
• Evaluate journey mapping in collaboration with CRM Team to enhance the online experience and optimize customer journeys in the 7-Eleven app, making it user-friendly, and fully optimized to grow conversions.
• Identify process gaps and opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency and execution quality across delivery workflows.
• Monitor marketing trends, processes and technologies within function to achieve efficiencies.
• Collaborative team member, fostering a supportive environment focused on growth and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business, Digital/E-Commerce, or Related Field.
• Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in delivery marketing preferably in retail, convenience or QSR industry.
• Proven experience in developing and executing successful delivery marketing & advertising strategies and campaigns that have driven online sales and customer acquisition.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets for tracking, documentation and data organization
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Creative, results-driven, and highly organized, with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency with monitoring and reporting on digital performance metrics.
• Excellent project management skills and ability to mobilize, often within tight timelines.
• Cooperative and collaborative with the ability to forge strong internal and external relationships.
• Ability to solve problems both independently and as part of a team through a structured approach.
• Experience working with cross-border teams is an asset.
