Ensuring an emphasis on team collaboration while ensuring quality brand standards.

Plan, organize and motivate employees toward achieving company goals in serving customers (stores or third Party) with maximum quality products in a Food Production Facility.

  1. Supervise Coach and motivate warehouse staff.
  2. Staff Schedule – work and vacation coverage to ensure optimal operational coverage.
  3. Responsible for monitoring employee hygiene and GMP Practices are being followed according to SOP and Brand standards.
  4. Responsible to ensure all Health and Safety Regulations and Requirements are being followed and met daily.
  5. Must demonstrate above average Problem-Solving skills in order to provide solution focused outcomes within the packing team.
  6. Ensure FIFO is observed when picking products for stores.
  7. Daily walk through – logs are signed and ensure all equipment and cooling units are in good running condition.
  8. Ensure Sanitation of all Red trays, Blue trays and wire baskets for days production.
  9. Monitor Pick and Pack staff Labor hours in order to minimize overtime.
  10. Follow up and communicate with stores shortages and overages.
  11. Perform Pre-Operational and Operational Inspections of Pick and Pack cooler.
  12. Inspects products i.e., sandwiches, produce, meat products, dry products prior to picking and packing and return any reject product to production department.
  13. Monitor inventories and supplies and report of any shortages, short date and damaged product to Production Supervisor.
  14. Delegate daily packing assignments for CDC and DSD operations.
  15. Daily check store ordering errors. Call stores and verify amounts to minimize write-offs.
  16. Check finished product for correct labelling and overall appearance. (Quality Control and Brand Recognition)
  17. Oversee the cleanliness and organization/sanitation of Pick and Pack Cooler and Warehouse area.
  18. Maintains a courteous, positive including respectful communication to staff at all times.
  19. Responsible to update MSDS on a monthly basis and attend the Health and Safety Meetings Monthly.
  20. Performs Weekly Swab Product Testing and sending samples to designated laboratory for testing.
  21. Effectively lead your team while promoting our Leadership Qualities.
  22. Ensure product is pick, packed, verified and ready to progress to delivery.
  23. Completion of daily lot code product verification.
  24. Completion of daily product, trays Label and trays count verification.
  25. Position may require other job duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS

  1. Leading and supporting your team of 5 to 15 team members.
  2. Lead hand will have the ability to report or evaluate team member quality of work standards to Supervisor.
  3. Reporting to Health and Safety Committee any safety concerns.
  4. Report to order writer of any shortages of products.
