Performs the preparation, assembly, packing of sandwiches, and other food-related products.   Maintains safe working conditions, following Foodsafe Procedures.

  1. Assembles food service items as per standard recipe.
  2. Maintains productivity levels.
  3. Packages and labels prepared product for distribution.
  4. Cleans and prepares fresh produce items.
  5. Cleans and sanitizes all equipment and fixture surfaces as per provincial and company standards.
  6. Maintains high standard of personal hygiene and follows standard company and provincial regulations for food safety.
  7. Performs other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Some high school
  • Related experience
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS/TRAVEL:

Reading – Some basic high school

Writing- Some basic high school

Math- Some basic high school

Computer- No computer.

Equipment- Wrapping machine.

Travel- Not a requirement

PHYSICAL EFFORT/WORKING CONDITIONS:

No demand for physical exertion.  Stationary position.

MANAGEMENT/PLANNING:

May assist in training new staff.
